Leaning Into It
4/2/2009 - Sue Ann Crockett
Here's a post from another blog I write. My weekend held a lovely surprise and I had to write about it.
I post it here in part to express once again how hard it can be to
embrace new ideas.. even helpful ones. But I dismiss these
opportunities at my own peril. As I maintain an open mind and an even
more wide open heart, I become a better person, and in my path discover lots of people
who are trying to do the same.
It keeps amazing me that at my age life continually presents chances to learn.. if only I will allow it.

Lovely blog, Sue Ann. You expressed it beautifully and it was uplifting to read something so positive. Thank you.

At 76 I am still learning at every bend in the road, and I realize that I have long 'way to go and not long to get there. This mornng the little squirrel who runs along the wooden fence just beyond my office window stopped, turned and chattered. He sat and talked with me for a while - life is good when you go to the basics. I am blessed, and happy to be part of your world.
