The first woman Detective is appointed in NY and the Lindbergh baby is kidnapped in NJ. The Peace Corps is begun and Kmart opens it’s first store. Birthdays include Fredric Chopin, Harry Belafonte, Opie (ron howard) and Bertha Pulman famous wirter of her time.
Feast of Juno is celebrated in Rome, prior to the recent movie.
