1536 Ann Boleyn is beheaded

1566 Mary Queen of Scots gave birth to a son, James, who eventually would be named the heir of Elizabeth I of England as well as succeeding Mary as ruler of Scotland

1623 Blaise Pascal mathematician/physicist/religious writer is born
