The stormy weather season begins for many of us at Women Etcetera right about now, but there's always a bumpy forecast somewhere in the world.

The destruction and havoc caused by nature is unnerving and gives us pause: "What would that be like? How can I help?" Most of us don't have the resources or time off work to hop a plane and go around the world to lift spirits and clean up broken hearts and homes.

What we do have is Women Etcetera. On our site, we support one another through unruly weather systems---literal and figurative. We've been snowed in and rained out, shivering without a furnace and staving off triple digit heat.

We've also lifted each other through serious illness and divorce, lives turned inside out because of children, friends, financial reversals, and career changes.

The aftermath of life storms can be just as unforgiving as those brought on by Mother Nature.  At Women Etcetera we can't predict or prevent rocky life paths. But we can and do hold each other up on the road to healing.
